Pricing

Because every group cannot be guaranteed to be the same size and our trip costs are based in large part on the number of participants, we try to the best of our ability to be as flexible as possible and price each group separately. We do not require a minimum number of participants and will not cancel trips because groups are not "full".

Rather than fitting into our set schedules, you let us know when, where and for how long you want to go. If others join in, the price per person can go down. If we do have a trip scheduled for the same time period that fits into your schedule, you may be able to join the existing group. Prices listed are in US Dollars and, although we do all we can to keep this website up to date, prices can be subject to changes due to unforeseen variables.

1 - NOTE: Climb Durations listed here are actual climb days on mountain only and do not include travel to or from Arusha or additional days spent in Arusha before and after a climb, as specified in the full trip itinerary description. For actual full trip durations, add two days and nights in Arusha before Day 1 on the mountain and 1 night and day in Arusha after the climb. In other words, for example, the Shira 8 day, 7 night climb has an actual trip duration of 11 days (not including travel time to and from Arusha). You arrive in Arusha on day one, begin your climb on day 3, end your climb on day 10 and depart for home or other adventures on day 11. The two nights lodging before the climb and one night lodging after the climb are included in prices listed above. See following paragraphs for more detail.

Airfare or other transportation to and from Arusha is not included in the above prices. 

Included in the Kilimanjaro Climb prices listed above are all airport transfers, transport from your lodge to the mountain and back, two (2) nights lodging and meals before the climb, one (1) night lodging and dinner after the climb, all meals and expedition tent accommodations on the mountain, all park fees and crew salaries. Bottled water option is available at an additional cost.

Included in Safari prices are all airport transfers, all ground transport to lodges, parks and game viewing drives, all lodging and meals, bottled water while game viewing, all park fees and crew salaries. Hot Air Balloon ride in Serengeti option is available at an additional cost.

Not included in above prices are crew tips, bottled water option, phone charges, extra meals, personal gear, sleeping bags or pads, alcohol beverages, lodge beverages, laundry or any other personal items required.
